Law Office of Todd Whiteley | Lawyers - Bankruptcy
About Us
Here’s how it works:
•Answer the questions on the “Get Started” page.
•Within 48 hours, the attorney will call with your free telephone consultation.
•If bankruptcy can help with your situation, our office will email you a questionnaire and a list of documents to gather. We then make an appointment for one of our representatives to come to your home to help you complete the questionnaire and make copies of your supporting documents.
•The attorney will analyze your questionnaire and supporting documents and confirm which bankruptcy chapter works best for you.
•We then email you a bankruptcy service agreement. You review the agreement, sign and return it with the check or money order for the retainer fee.
•We then draft the petition, schedules and related documents, and the attorney will review the entire package with you before you sign.
•The attorney files your petition and documents with the court. Your case is assigned a time, date and location for the 341 meeting.
•You meet the attorney 15 minutes prior to the 341 meeting, and then the attorney represents you at the meeting.
•In most chapter 7 cases, a discharge of debts will be granted, or in chapter 13 cases the repayment plan will be confirmed and implemented.
