JERK INDIE FEST II-Electric Boogaloo | Arts & Culture
It's Spring (even if it finally feels like Winter) and the artist are starting to get productive. JERK INDIE FEST II (I think the first sequel should always be called Electric Boogaloo).
The first Music and Art Fest of the season will be taking place on Sunday March 25th at 4pm. Once again it is being hosted at The Plea for Peace Center 630 E Weber Ave Stockton. Along with music, there is an Art Show and Bar B Que.
Andrew Hemans is the mastermind behind Jerk Indie and has poured his heart into this years event. Eleven acts will grace the stage 9 from Stockton, 1 from Modesto and one rolling up North from San Diego.
Last year's Modesto Area Music Award nominee Filbert , who are currently working on releasing a vinyl version of their latest recording, will be joined by 2008 MAMA Award Winner not an Airplane(Modesto), along with A Movable West, Adams&Eves(San Diego), Alitak, Anchor, Andrew Hemans, The Lavenders, Adam Messinger, Steeproof and Village. This is one of the more eclectic showcase of the genre.
Advance tickets are only $5 ($10 at the door) and with that you get Eleven great acts, a Bar B Que, Art Show and your ticket gets you entered into a Raffle. Food, Fun, Music and More what else could you ask for.
