Sac & Co Winners Enjoy Chris Isaak Concert in Stockton | Arts & Culture
Stockton -- Leta and Tricina Castro cuddled Saturday night as they enjoyed Chris Isaak, Stockton's native son and soul-mate, during his hometown performance at the elegant Bob Hope Theatre. Guests of News 10's Sac & Co, Leta and Tricina won the concert tickets because they submitted a great photo of their baby daughter wearing pink bunny ears. As for the camera-shy Chris Isaak, his Stockton performance was high energy, acoustically perfect and, of course, full of sparkling sequins -- like twinkling lights on a Christmas tree but topped with a Pompadour hairdo instead of an angel. Attending Saturday's show was Chris Isaak's mother who married his father in downtown Stockton. The newlyweds then attended a show at the Bob Hope Theatre, which was known as the Fox Theatre, sitting in the balcony's fifth row -- where Leta and Tricina were seated. Also performing was Nick Isaak's Impromptu Band who played classic country songs that brought back memories of my 1960s youth in Chicago. Nick is a top-level performer who should take his band on the road. Why wait for brother Chris to fluff up his Pompadour?
