New Census figures shine light on Stanislaus, San Joaquin counties | Business

The U.S. Census Bureau released estimates for its American Community Survey for the years 2007 to 2011. The report provides statistic down to the neighborhood level on measures such as school enrollment, jobs and housing.

The graphic below shows some of the new information about San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties, including figures on home ownership, business ownership and retail sales. 

The information covers the time just before and through the recession.
