Remains of teen, fetus found inside Linden well | Crime
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA - Forensic anthropologists were able to develop a profile for a third victim who was found inside a Linden well where "Speed Freak Killer" Wesley Shermantine said bodies were buried.
Shermantine told law enforcement that Loren Herzog buried the bodies of people he killed in a well on Flood Road and in the surrounding area.
San Joaquin County sheriff's deputies found three bodies inside of the Linden well in early February after following Shermantine's direction.
Two of the bodies were identified as Kimberly Billy and Joann Hobson.
Anthropologists said the third body was of a female with mixed ancestry, aged 16 to 18 years old. She was 5'1" to 5'4" tall. Law enforcement also found the remains of a fetus 28 to 32 weeks old.
There have been no DNA matches to help identify the remains.
The San Joaquin Sheriff's Department asks anyone who knows of a missing person fitting the profile of the third person found in the well to call (209) 468-5087.
