STOCKTON, CA - Three people were shot and injured in a drive-by shooting in south Stockton Friday night.
The shooting happened around 10:09 p.m. in a grocery store parking lot on Turnpike Road. Stockton police Lt. Mike Reynoso said that is across the street from Edison High School, where a football game was in progress.
An 18-year-old, 24-year-old and 17-year-old were injured in the shooting. Reynoso said two of the victims were shot in the lower body; the other was shot in the upper body. The victim's injuries were non-life threatening.
Officers recovered multiple shell casings from the street.
Reynoso said police continue to investigate the shooting.
While police don't have a suspect description, they have a description of the suspect vehicle: dark green 4-door car.
