LATHROP, CA - The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office was investigating a flashing incident in the area near Lathrop Elementary School Tuesday morning.

The sheriff's office says two students saw a man exposing himself on Warfield Street, about three blocks from the school, around 8 a.m. They told responding deputies the man then ran to a waiting newer model gray sedan.

The kids told their mother who had met up with them and they informed school officials who called law enforcement.

Additional deputies were sent to the area to look for the flasher and car but didn't find him or the vehicle.

The flasher was described as Asian, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He wore a black sock hat or beanie, charcoal gray pull-over sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
