Sleeping Stockton woman shot in her bedroom | Crime

STOCKTON , CA -  A woman was shot in her home on the 3000 block of Anita Way, early Thursday morning.

The 61-year-old victim was sleeping when she heard a gunshot and noticed that she had been struck by a bullet, Stockton Police Department said.

The vicitm reported that the suspect was standing in her bedroom. She said she ran from the scene and to a neighbors house for help.

The suspect has yet to located, but was described as a man wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt with the letters, "LSW" printed on it.
