STOCKTON, Calif. - A Stockton man is lucky to be alive Friday morning after another man shot at him during an argument Thursday night.

The man told Stockton police he arrived at his home on the 1900 block of Comstock Dr. around 7 p.m. when he was confronted by an Asian man in his late 40s to early 50s.

Lieutenant Josh Doberneck of the Stockton Police Dept. said the two men then got into an argument, during which time the Asian man withdrew a gun and fired, grazing the victim's forehead.

The suspected shooter then fled the scene in a blue or silver 1991-1994 GMC van, with an unknown license plate.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene and transported the gunshot victim to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooter was described as Asian man by the name of Rudy who had a a shaved head with long pony tail in the back. He was approximately 48 to 50 years old with a grey beard and mustache.
