STOCKTON, CA - Two men were arrested in Stockton Tuesday for carjacking a 50-year-old man operating a church-run shuttle, say Stockton police.
According to Stockton police reports, the driver was preparing to start the morning runs for residents of a center on the 500 block of W. Worth Street when Cortez Craig, 55, and Cornell Moses, 31, punched the man and stole the keys to the vehicle.
Police reports indicate the men punched the driver because they did not want to wait their turn for a ride to visit a friend in the county jail.
Craig and Moses then drove the vehicle to the jail where they were apprehended.
