STOCKTON — If you’re looking for a way to support local artisans, Stockmarket may be your best bet.

Stockmarket is a pop up shopping experience set for May 2 in downtown Stockton. It will feature artisan products as well as curated and vintage items all presented by vendors from the region.

“It will be a fun destination for people to come down to. There’ll be music. There’ll be drinks,” said Katie Macrae, who, with her partner Amy Sieffert, organized the event.

Among the vendors you can expect to see are Ten Four Goods, which makes eco-friendly, artfully designed canvas bags; Port City Pomade, which makes men’s hair care products; Jesus Mountain Coffee, a Stockton-based craft coffee company. There is also a local macaroon shop, hand poured candles, furniture, calligraphy, vintage clothing and more.

There will also be food from mobile trucks and live music by local bands... Read More
