The Man Who Came to Dinner
It is the winter of 1940 and famous radio personality Sheridan Whiteside has come to dinner at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley. Slipping on a piece of ice on their doorstep, he breaks his hip and is forced to spend the holiday season with the Stanley family, A tumultuous six weeks of confinement follow during which the Stanley living room is monopolized by the irascible invalid and his staff. Convicts from a women's prison are invited to meals, movie stars come to visit and strange gifts begin to arrive, including a crate of penguins, an octopus, 10,000 cockroaches and a mummy case! "The Man who Came to Dinner" is a warm-hearted screwball comedy; come see this event unfold at the Tillie Lewis Theater!
