STOCKTON - The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will be in Stockton on Monday, June 27, to play a gig at the Stockton Empire Theatre, located at 1825 Pacific Avenue. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost $20 for general admission.

Led by singer Chris Robinson, The Brotherhood features Robinson, Neal Casal on guitar, Adam MacDougall on keys, George Sluppick on drums and Mark "Muddy" Dutton on bass.

According to Robinson, "We'll be playing a bunch of new songs I have been working on and will be digging deep into what is happening at that musical moment. There will be old stuff that I've done and a handful of covers that just feel right. Please come with your good vibes, feel free to trip along with the bouncing ball or just float away. Remember we all want great gigs!"

Stockton Energy Challenge looking for homeowners

STOCKTON, CA - The Stockton Energy Challenge continues to look for residents of a particular neighborhood who want to learn more about energy efficient homes and how to cut energy costs.

The effort is being sponsored by the State of California, PG&E, and local contractors like Green Home Solutions of Stockton.

Homeowners in Lincoln Village West, of Stockton, are being targeted in the campaign to get older homes more energy efficient.

"You're looking at attic insulation, duct sealing, air sealing," Green Home Solutions' Stephanie Rodriguez said. "Sometimes people need new heating and air units, because they're older."

Twenty-eight homeowners have signed on to the project so far, with future workshops scheduled to educate people who need more information.
