10th Annual Women Praying Beyond Limits set for May 7

STOCKTON - The 10th Annual Women Praying Beyond Limits event will take place on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Robert Cabral Center, 2101 East Earhart Avenue at Arch Road (between Highway 99 and Airport Way).

The event began as a response to the senseless attacks on the United States on 9-11-2001. Since then, local women have met each year to continue to make united pleas to heal our land. The Open Door House of Prayer hosts this free event.

This year's theme will be the wellness of our families, communities and nation. Childhood obesity, our failing schools, the high drop out rate in our schools, soaring unemployment and other issues that affect our communities, will be addressed at the event.

Come join us and learn how we can be a light in our communities and work to make a difference through prayer. Lunch will be served.

To RSVP or for more information, call Angie Phillips at (209) 944-9292.
