The San Joaquin County Community Development Department's monthly building report for November shows that permits for 75 new homes were pulled in November in the unincorporated part of the County with a value of $18,254,000.
Not too long ago the number of new home permits was zero.
Community Development Director Kerry Sullivan says the majority of the new home permits are are for Mountain House. Year-to-date statistics now total 197 new home permits since June.
Permit reports from the City of Manteca show 32 hew home permits were pulled in November bringing that city's total to 247 new home permits.
And in Lathrop, William Lyons Homes is building again, and 144 new home permits were taken out since January 1, 2012.
